Job summary

Lexicon, Inc. in Monroe, LA is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead the site safety program, ensure OSHA compliance, and protect employees and the public.

You will work with site management and report to the Facilities Safety Manager, with a safety-sensitive role emphasizing hazard prevention. The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing/construction safety, OSHA 30, CPR, strong communication, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Must be able to conduct safety meetings and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit the shop to ensure safe work performance and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain records as required by OSHA and company policy.
• Investigate job-related injuries and accidents and assist with claims personnel.
• Provide first aid to employees for work-related injuries.
• Conduct safety orientations and weekly safety meetings and training.
• Overtime and punctual attendance are required.
