Job description

Our client is currently seeking a Safety Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing and implement site-specific Safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives
  • Safety Culture Champion:Foster a safety-first mindset across the organization, leading safety committees and promoting employee engagement on shift
  • Regulatory Compliance: Provide guidance to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Hazard Assessment Pro:Evaluate operational hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure protective measures are in place.
  • Perform OSHA compliance training and operational hazard-specific training.
  • Lead a team of safety coordinators.
  • Participate on continuous improvement projects centered around the safety department

What You Bring:

  • Education:Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial or Occupational Safety or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a safety role
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred
  • Experience leading and training others is preferred.
  • OSHA experience (certification is highly preferred)
  • Open to 2nd shift
