Rocky Mountain Steel Mills in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Safety Supervisor to implement and improve safety programs across our steel mill. You will enforce policies, deliver OSHA training, and drive risk assessments to protect front-line teams.

The role requires a degree in safety or industrial hygiene or equivalent experience, with strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience in a union environment. We offer competitive wages, a bonus program, and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Requires degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field with 3–5 years experience (Associates) or 3 years (Bachelors).
• Industrial setting experience, preferably heavy industry (steel, mining, construction).
• Professional safety certs a plus (OSHA 10/30, ASP, CSP, CHST).
• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety program management.

Rocky Mountain Steel Mills is seeking a Safety Supervisor to join our team at our steel manufacturing facility in Pueblo, Colorado. This role is responsible for implementing, monitoring and continuously improving safety programs at an assigned mill. This role ensures compliance with federal, state and local safety regulations, promotes a culture of workplace safety, and works closely with front line employees, leaders and management to reduce workplace risks.Monitor and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs across assigned millDevelop and present monthly OSHA safety training, conduct forklift training, and aid in new hire training where necessaryTrack and communicate mill safety statisticsConduct regular safety audits, inspections and risk assessments for work areas, equipment and processes (i.e. fire extinguishers, fall protection, eye wash stations, safety permits, SOPs, and various other safety related subjects)Timely participation in incident investigations, including injuries, equipment damage, and near misses.
