Rocky Mountain Steel Mills in Pueblo, Colorado, seeks a Quality Supervisor to lead the quality team, ensure adherence to ISO-based systems, and drive continuous improvement in inspection and testing processes.

The role requires strong leadership, effective training delivery, and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to maintain product quality and safety. Candidates with a technical engineering background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; engineering preferred.
• 2–5 years in a heavy industrial environment, steel preferred.
• Experience with ISO-based quality management systems.
• Experience with dimensional inspections of metal products.
• Proven ability to lead audits and root-cause investigations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop quality inspectors and technicians to meet safety and quality standards.
• Plan and monitor daily work assignments and performance to achieve dept. goals.
• Maintain and improve quality management systems and process control docs.
• Oversee inspections and testing per customer specs and industry standards.
• Lead audits, nonconformances, and corrective actions; drive process improvements.

Rocky Mountain Steel Mills is looking for a Quality Supervisor to support our operations in Pueblo, Colorado. This role requires a strong technical background in steel manufacturing quality systems, inspection and testing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies. The successful candidate will provide frontline leadership to quality personnel, ensuring compliance with quality standards, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and employee development.Rocky Mountain Steel Mills is committed to maintaining and promoting a safe, healthy and injury-free environment.
