Job summary

Stella Jones Corporation seeks a Safety Supervisor at our Cordele, GA plant to ensure Health and Safety compliance across operations. You will inspect facilities, lead audits, and oversee training.

Responsibilities

• Perform health and safety inspections at the facility.

• Direct other supervisors and employees on safety matters.
• Maintain accurate health and safety reporting and records.
• Occasional travel to EHS training events.
• Support the company safety program and related duties.

Job description

Safety Supervisor (Finance)

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring Health and Safety compliance at our manufacturing plant in Cordele.

Principal Responsibilities

• Health and Safety facility inspections
• Health and Safety facility audits
• Health and Safety facility training
• Health and Safety policy, programs, and procedures implementation
• Perform accident and incident investigation as necessary
• Provides directions to other department supervisors and plant employees in regards to health and safety matters
• Accurate and timely Health and Safety reporting and recordkeeping
• Occasional travel to EHS training events
• May be responsible for additional plant operations
• Participates and contributes to company safety program
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: (Required) High School Diploma or GED; (Preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Safety Science
