Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a hands-on Safety Supervisor to provide daily safety oversight for electrical construction crews across Micron project sites in Syracuse, NY. This 3-month, 1099 contract role requires strong field leadership and travel.

You will audit sites, coach foremen, enforce OSHA and NFPA 70E standards, and maintain safety documentation while coordinating with field leadership on high-risk activities.

Qualifications

• NFPA 70E certification required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience supporting electrical construction activities.
• Strong field leadership and coaching abilities.
• Ability to travel between multiple project locations.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel and supervision.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain required safety documentation and reporting.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout all assigned sites.

Safety Supervisor

Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 3 Months (Start: ASAP)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $56/hr
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.76/mile
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Approximately 30 Hours/Week | 3 Days Per Week (scheduled days may vary)
Additional Schedule Details: Schedule is flexible and will vary based on project needs and site activities.
