Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Safety Specialist to support our Scottsdale, AZ projects. The role focuses on leading OSHA-compliant safety practices, daily safety meetings, and investigations to ensure workers return home safely.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30, and a BSCP certification. Expect PPE enforcement, safety audits, and equipment inspections as part of the daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required.
• BSCP certification preferred.
• First Aid/ CPR certified and strong knowledge of safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and safety trainings.
• complete accident reports and conduct investigations.
• Enforce use of PPE by all personnel on site.
• Perform daily safety audits and inspections.
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment for safety compliance.

HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Scottsdale, AZto support our growing commercial construction projects. If you’re passionate about making an impact, driving compliance, and building a culture where every worker goes home safe, we want you on our team.

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
• BSCP cert preferred
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Strong knowledge ofconstruction safety standards
• Must have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation- Parking Structure Construction
