HazTek Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to support our commercial construction projects and drive a culture of safety and compliance.

Join a team dedicated to keeping workers safe on site through daily safety meetings, hazard inspections, and rigorous accident investigations. This role emphasizes PPE compliance, tool and equipment inspections, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required.
• BCSP certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Experience in fall protection, scaffolding, steel erection, and excavation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates HazTek core values: integrity, compassion, dependability, leadership, accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and investigate accidents
