Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is hiring a Safety Specialist in San Luis, AZ to support commercial construction projects and strengthen safety culture on site.

Join a team dedicated to protecting workers through rigorous OSHA compliance, daily safety meetings, and proactive hazard identification. Applicants should have 5+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and First Aid/CPR certification, with BCSP preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 hour Construction certification required.
• BCSP Certification preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection and Excavation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Ensure all personnel wear their PPE.
• Perform daily safety audits and inspections.
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment.
