HazTek Safety Management is hiring a Safety Specialist in Mesa, AZ to support commercial construction projects and drive a culture of safety. The role focuses on OSHA compliance, daily safety meetings, incident investigations, PPE enforcement, and regular audits to protect workers.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of construction safety experience and OSHA 30 construction certification, with knowledge in fall protection, scaffolding, and equipment inspections.

HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Mesa, AZto support our growing commercial construction projects. If you’re passionate about making an impact, driving compliance, and building a culture where every worker goes home safe, we want you on our team.

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
• BCSP Cert Preferred
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Strong knowledge ofconstruction safety standards
• Must have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
• Excellent verbal and written skills
