Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a safety/health-related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of construction safety experience required.
• Ability to perform work accurately, timely and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the field safety program for routine construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits, document findings and abatement steps.
• Oversee safety orientation for new hires and enforce drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Support prime contractor and subcontractor safety programs and attend project meetings.
• Lead safety committee activities and provide guidance on safety topics to the team.
• Investigate accidents, determine root causes and recommend process changes.
