ComplyAuto manages and automates compliance decisions, performing tasks that would normally require manually-intensive processes and human intelligence.

ComplyAuto began as a privacy compliance company for automotive dealers, but has quickly expanded into other verticals and compliance areas, including cybersecurity, EHS (environmental, health, and safety), and legal compliance.

Provides excellent opportunity to engage directly with clients and partners outside the regular office environment. Hours will vary on travel days based on need. This is a fully remote opportunity. Preference to qualified candidates located in MI, OH, PA, WV.

Benefits:
  • 401(k) 5% match (1:1)
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance; premiums we pay 100% for employee and family

  • Laptop and related hardware required provided
Job Summary:

The Safety Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting both the Sales and Client Success teams, specifically focusing on the Safety product. This specialist leverages their in-depth understanding of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and EHS guidelines to help automotive dealers rectify safety violations and utilizes this expertise to aid the sales team in acquiring new clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Own the post-sale customer relationship for assigned accounts, serving as the primary point of contact from onboarding through renewal.
  • Lead remote software onboarding: kickoff, configuration guidance, user training, and go-live support to drive fast time-to-value.
  • Conduct onsite chemical and equipment inspections to verify compliance, safe storage/handling, labeling, and operational readiness.
  • Perform facility safety walkthroughs to identify hazards, document findings, and recommend corrective actions aligned to customer requirements and applicable standards.
  • Produce clear inspection deliverables (notes, photos, issue logs, and action plans) and track remediation progress to closure.
  • Translate field observations into product workflows-ensuring customer accounts accurately reflect site conditions, assets, and safety requirements.
  • Proactively manage account health using product usage signals, stakeholder check-ins, and adoption plans to reduce churn risk.
  • Coordinate with customer stakeholders to set goals, align on timelines, and prioritize safety initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales on renewals and expansions by identifying value realized, documenting outcomes, and surfacing growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally-sharing trends, feature requests, and recurring pain points with Product and Engineering. Resolve customer issues by triaging tickets, coordinating internal resources, and communicating status and next steps with urgency.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation (site profiles, inspection history, training records, contacts, and success plans).
  • Build and deliver customer-facing reporting (inspection summaries, adoption metrics, and executive readouts) that demonstrates ROI.
  • Ensure consistent, professional onsite/virtual presence: schedule visits, follow site access/safety requirements, and represent the company well.
  • Contribute to standard operating procedures for inspections, onboarding, and ongoing success motions.
