Job summary

P&S Transportation is seeking a Safety and Compliance professional in the United States to monitor electronic logging devices for federal compliance and oversee daily Hours of Service data for drivers.

You will conduct orientation on Hours of Service, train drivers on devices that record Hours of Service, and audit driver records, physicals, and license renewals to ensure internal compliance including annual reviews and MVR checks.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electronic logging devices for federal compliance.
• Monitor daily hours of service submitted by drivers.
• Deliver orientation presentations for Hours of Service.
• Train new drivers on devices recording Hours of Service.
• Monitor internal compliance of annual reviews and drivers' MVRs.
• Monitor internal compliance of driver physicals and license renewals.
• Audit Hours of Service violations and generate reports for safety audits.

Job Description

• Monitor electronic logging devices for federal compliance
• Monitor daily hours of service turned in by drivers
• Orientation presentation for Hours of Service
• Train new drivers on electronic devices that record Hours of Service
• Monitor for internal compliance of annual reviews and reviews of each drivers MVR
• Monitor for internal compliance of Drivers physicals and Driver license renewals

*As a Safety and Compliance position, this rolewill require the auditing of Hours of Service violations in addition to monitoring the Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. This employee will also run reports that will help supervisors better determine which drivers are at higher risk to be scrutinized during Safety audits.
