Job summary

P&S Transportation is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee the daily activities of our nationwide driver fleet. The role focuses on optimizing ETA communications, route assignments via McLeod, and guiding drivers to meet safety and delivery goals.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, support drivers with over-the-road issues, and maintain essential documents such as licenses and drug tests. This is a salary position that rewards performance and reliability across our growing logistics network.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field OR 1–3 years of dispatch/fleet management experience.
• Proficient experience with truck dispatch software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ETAs with load planners.
• Use McLeod to assign work to drivers nationwide.
• Direct daily activities of drivers to designated territories or dedicated operations.
• Provide guidance on compliance with local, state and federal trucking regulations.
• Ensure drivers are safe, productive and deliver on time.
• Counsel drivers and assist with over-the-road issues.
• Assist drivers with keeping documents up to date (licenses, drug tests, physicals).

Job Description

We are looking for a Driver Manager to manage the daily activity of our driver personnel. If you are looking for a career that gives you the opportunity to be a GREAT manager for our GREAT fleet, this is the perfect job for you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

• Communicate ETAs with load planners
• Utilize McLeod, which is our operating software, to assign work to drivers all over the country
• Direct the daily activities of drivers to designated territories or dedicated operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and business objectives
• Providing drivers with guidance on complying with any applicable local, state and federal statutes regulating the trucking industry.
• Ensure that drivers are safe, productive, and deliver on-time to our customers.
• Counseling drivers and assisting them with over the road issues
• Assist drivers with keeping important documents up to date such as driver’s license renewal, random drug tests and physicals

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field or 1-3 years of experience in dispatch or fleet management
• Proficient experience with truck dispatch software
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be detail oriented and have a great interpersonal skills
