Job summary

Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead on-site safety initiatives across roofing projects in the Lewis Center area. You will conduct safety inspections, manage the Drug and Alcohol Program, and ensure OSHA compliance.

The role demands strong organizational and communication skills, a professional appearance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel to job sites and collaboration with project teams are essential to protect workers and maintain regulatory

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety Management preferred or relevant experience.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Ability to conduct oneself professionally in a business setting
• Exhibit strong organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in PC programs, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Travel to jobsites to conduct detailed safety inspections
• Implements, administers and maintains project Drug and Alcohol Substance Abuse Program
• Operate under OSHA regulations
• Develops and conducts employee safety and health training programs
• Manages project security contracts, programs and policies
• Performs record keeping functions
• Conducts incident and injury investigations
• Writes detailed injury reports
• Completes all appropriate company safety program documents
• Monitors construction safety program administration
• Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of safety
