We are seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our team at North Branch Construction. In this role, you will conduct inspections of assigned jobsites to ensure applicable safety regulations are being met. Your expertise will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts daily inspections of assigned jobsite.
• Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
• Conducts employee training on applicable safety standards.
• Conducts safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.
• Inspects safety equipment; recommends replacements.
• Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in health and safety, Environmental Health, or related field required.
• At least one to two years of occupational health and safety experience in a construction environment required.
• Health and Safety certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of current company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Ability to conduct training.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
