Job summary

Insight Global in Ashburn, VA is seeking a hands-on Senior Safety Specialist to lead JSAs, translate regulations into clear procedures and deliver safety training across sites in the Mid-Atlantic. You will drive compliance, update policies, and work with field teams to improve safety performance.

The role requires 3–4 years of safety experience, expertise in OSHA and state regulations, and the ability to present complex concepts in an actionable way. OSHA 30 is a nice-to-have.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of safety experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining JSAs.
• Strong understanding of OSHA requirements and Virginia safety regulations.
• EPA compliance, safety standards, and best practices.
• Ability to translate customer and regulatory safety requirements into actionable training and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Translate customer safety requirements and state regulations into clear procedures.
• Create and deliver monthly safety training programs.
• Conduct safety program administration and policy updates.
• Work closely with an internal team to ensure compliance and execution.
• Evaluate how work is performed, associated risks, and how employees can perform work safely and compliantly.

• Supports a multi-state safety environment with a primary focus on Virginia safety regulations and EPA compliance.
• Based in Ashburn, VA.
• Will support customer sites throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Most applicable industry experience:
• Data Centers
• Manufacturing
• Industrial environments

Must-Have Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years of safety experience.
