Job summary

Insights Training Group LLC, on behalf of the Cincinnati Job Corps Center, seeks a security professional to design and manage safety and security programs for the Center. The role includes enforcing laws, coordinating guard operations, and leading security cadets to ensure a safe campus.

The successful candidate will conduct daily patrols, assist staff and visitors, and prepare comprehensive incident and safety reports in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Prior security experience preferred; background in youth programs or law enforcement is a plus.
• Must possess a valid State Driver's License - Class C; CDL may be required in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all laws, rules, and policies within the scope of authority.
• Foot patrol assigned areas and monitor for disturbances, hazards, and other conditions.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff as needed.
• Perform building security and safety checks.
• Prepare accident reports and other required documentation.
• Coordinate recruiting, selecting and training of security cadets.
• Participate in safety and fire prevention program planning and enforcement.

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, overseeing and integrating safety and security programs for the Center.

Duties

• Ensures the enforcement of all laws, rules and policies within his/her scope of authority.
• Foot patrols all assigned areas and remains alert for disturbances, fires, safety hazards, traffic violators, suspicious acts and/or persons and other unusual conditions.
• Aids and assists visitors, students and staff in every way possible.
• Performs building security and safety checks.
• Receives complaints and performs appropriate investigations.
• Provides transportation service as directed.
• Investigates vehicle accidents at the Center.
• Issues visitor passes and temporary parking permits.
• Performs main entrance duty.
• Assists staff in quelling disturbances.
• Prepares written accident reports and other reports as required.
• Coordinates recruiting, selecting and training of security cadets.
• Participates in preparation and enforcement of Center's safety and fire prevention program.
• Conducts daily briefing with security cadets that cover assignments, proper dress, and procedures.
• Provides written and oral reports, briefings, or summaries to appropriate staff.
• Ensures all equipment is properly maintained.
• Provides vehicle checks to entering and exiting traffic.

Qualifications

Experience

Prior security experience preferred. At least one year in a residential living setting and background in youth programs or law enforcement is preferred. Safety related training preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree preferred or combination of education and experience
