Job summary

La Vida Llena in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Safety Aide to support a safe and secure community through observation, reporting, and resident-focused service. You will screen residents and visitors, patrol common areas, monitor alarms, and assist during emergencies with accurate logs and professional conduct.

The role requires at least 2 years in security, knowledge of alarm systems, and CPR/AED and First Aid, with on-the-job training to complete certifications within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security experience in building or grounds.
• Knowledge of alarm and communication systems and ability to coordinate with Police and Fire.
• Ability to complete forms accurately and maintain logs.
• Formal training or experience in self-defense.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification upon hire or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide general safety and security through observation and reporting.
• Screen residents, guests, vendors, and visitors as needed.
• Perform patrols of common areas and check security functions.
• Monitor surveillance and fire alarm systems; respond to alarms.
• Assist during emergencies and maintain logs.
