Job summary

NREP in Boise, Idaho seeks an EHS Specialist to perform audits, inspections and risk assessments using EHS Insight. You will identify hazards, recommend controls, and collaborate with personnel to ensure safety excellence.

The role requires strong communication and writing skills, experience with safety programs, and the ability to lead training efforts while coordinating with contractors and teams across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in accident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with safety and occupational health methods, practices, principles and procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience delivering and documenting training professionally.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent writing and report preparation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Use EHS Insight to perform audits, inspections, and work observations per performance expectations.
• Assist with Risk Assessments throughout the lifecycle of projects.
• Conduct worksite safety inspections to identify hazards and implement controls.
• Attend and participate in safety meetings for MMUSA personnel.
• Assist in incident event management.
• Review pre-task plans.
• Support a culture of safe work practices and safety excellence.
• Maintain awareness of Murata AMHS processes and monitor performance against expectations.
