Qualifications

• Certifications such as CSP/ASP/CIH/OHST/CEM/CHST/CHMM are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops and enforces safety policies and procedures compliant with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Leads programs to minimize risk and promote workplace safety.
• Coordinates with federal, state, and local agencies (OSHA, TOSHA, law enforcement, fire departments).
• Oversees Safety Program implementation and updates, and conducts employee training.
• Facilitates Employee Safety Committee activities and gathers feedback.
• Investigates accidents and prepares detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Manages Risk Management program including claims processing and reporting.
• Supports Emergency Management with NIMS training and drills.
• Maintains training schedule and records database.
• Supports onboarding with safety orientations for new employees.
