Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Field Safety Representative in Sheboygan, WI to provide hands-on field safety support on excavation and concrete construction activities. The role involves working with project supervision and craft personnel to maintain a safe and productive work environment on a large Amazon warehouse site.

You will monitor high‑risk activities, conduct site inspections and hazard assessments, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and site safety

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification is required.
• Experience supporting excavation and concrete construction operations is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety support for excavation and concrete operations.
• Maintain a visible field presence with craft personnel and project supervision.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, field observations, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor excavation, trenching, concrete placement, and reinforcing activities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements.
• Support excavation protective systems, access/egress, and spoil pile management.
• Review JHAs, permits, and pre-task plans.
• Monitor heavy equipment operations and material handling activities.
• Communicate safety concerns and corrective actions to project leadership.
• Maintain safety documentation, inspections, and compliance records.
• Promote safe work practices through coaching and employee engagement.
• Help foster a proactive safety culture throughout the project.

Location: Sheboygan, WI

Duration: 1+ Months (Immediate Need)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $45/hr

Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week for Non-Local Candidates)

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | 40 Hours Per Week

• Heavy civil or site development experience
• CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
