Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure seeks a SQT Trainer II to lead and conduct heavy equipment operator training programs. You will identify training objectives, develop facilitator guides and participant materials, and ensure employees are educated on safety protocols and company procedures.

You will coordinate with supervisors and the Training Manager to design courses, maintain records, and generate OSHA reports while promoting a culture of safety. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of experience as a Safety Trainer preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
• Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains facilitator materials, session plans, visual aids and handouts for training sessions.
• Conducts safety and technical training for employees upon hire and on a periodic schedule.
• Interprets and enforces health and safety programs to drive continuous improvement and a culture aligned with company values.
• Coordinates with supervisors and employees to ensure field training is implemented.
• Coordinates with the Training Manager to design training materials and courses.
• Evaluates and modifies existing training solutions, techniques, and materials.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of best practices, standards, guidelines, technology, and equipment.
