Qualifikationen

• BS in Chemistry or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 8+ years of analytical lab experience.
• Experience with implementing, performing, and/or monitoring Laboratory QA/QC.
• Must be knowledge of chemical analyses and processes.
• Good computer skills required (scientific instrument software, Word, Excel).
• Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills.
• Must have initiative and be self-motivated.
• Good organization skills.

Aufgaben

• Generate monthly safety meeting presentation from Air Liquide template.
• Own weekly near miss meeting and any safety champion calls/training.
• Plan and assign out JSAs, inspections and submarine drills.
• Report SAS safety requirements.
• Manage safety near misses and action items to closure.
• Maintain accurate and up to date JHAs and PPE matrix.
• Investigate any safety issues and manage action items to closure.
• Perform ergonomic assessments.
• Train new employees on both quality and safety culture.
• Train new hires on overall lab safety, evacuation routes, and how to report safety issues.
• Manage and sustain 17025 accreditation.
• Manage SOPs and any training associated with changes to the SOPs.
• Trend data to ensure lab is reporting quality data and report against KPIs quarterly to customer.
• Maintain lab databases and data templates.
• Provide support to LIMS administrator on any needed LIMS updates/fixes.
• Manage quality near misses and action items to closure.
• Investigate any quality issues or environmental change points, e.g. new hood qualifications, moving the pc between labs, etc.
• Act as subject matter expert for safety and quality for all active projects.
• Perform support and training on spaghetti diagrams.
• Present status of safety and quality KPIs weekly to customer.
• Implement and validate database updates and revisions.
• Implement and validate data template updates and revisions.
