Job summary

Novolex in Brookshire, TX is seeking a Safety & Quality Coordinator to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across the facility. This role reports to the Safety Manager and drives a zero-injury culture while auditing processes and maintaining SQF standards.

You will lead safety training, incident investigations, PPE policies, and coordination with regulators, while using Excel to track metrics and produce reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree is preferred.
• OSHA 10-hour certification is required (OSHA 30-hour is highly preferred).
• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Conduct incident investigations and coordinate with Plant Manager and HR.
• Oversee PPE policies and enforce safety standards across the facility.
• Lead safety training updates and new hire orientations for shipping/receiving staff.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal teams to maintain compliance.
