Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York is seeking a Project Specialist to develop and implement company-wide Safety initiatives. You will provide expert guidance on OSHA standards and lead safety program development with strong communication and leadership.

The role requires building reports, analyzing trends, and coordinating safety meetings across diverse job sites and operations. Travel and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in engineering, science, OSH, or related technical field.
• 5 years of related experience or 3 years with a Master's.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in safety areas, provide day-to-day guidance on OSHA standards.
• Review injury/illness reports, coordinate safety meetings, and monthly reporting.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Interact with internal/external stakeholders to identify improvements.
• Lead incident investigations and 24x7 response as required.
