Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York seeks a Senior Specialist to coordinate emergency response logistics, maintain readiness, and provide ICS support for ESG. You will manage resources, deployments, vendor relationships, and financial controls to ensure effective emergencies response within and beyond the service territory.

The role requires participation in 24/7 emergency operations, including nights and weekends, and extended assignments during major system emergencies and mutual aid

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience in incident command or emergency response coordination
• Proven track record of budget controls and procurement processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with field operations in utility or emergency services

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency logistics resources and personnel for ESG-LOCC mobilizations
• Support response, restoration, and mutual assistance operations with field deployments
• Administer and maintain emergency assignment rosters, call-out lists, and contact information
• Inspect and audit logistics sites, equipment, and inventories for readiness and compliance
• Manage procurement activities and track emergency-related expenditures in Oracle
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive technology deployments for better response performance
