Job summary

• HS diploma or GED with 2 years relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s in a HES-related field.
• Successful completion of Marathon Petroleum HESS internship.
• Valid driver’s license for work-related travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for routine operations, major maintenance or construction, and emergency response to ensure worker safety.
• Supports development and execution of safety programs to comply with regulatory standards and MPC standards.
• Leads and supports investigations for near-misses, incidents and injuries, identifying root causes and recommendations.
• Develops and presents safety training materials in collaboration with Operations and Learning Development.
