Job summary

Goodwill Central Oklahoma is seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee health and safety across all locations, develop training, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with OSHA and accreditation standards.

You will lead the Safety Committee, conduct quarterly inspections, and maintain required documentation, including HIPAA-related privacy controls, while promoting a culture of safety and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of experience or the equivalent combination.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and car insurance verification.
• Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Reliable transportation and communication required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present employee and supervisory safety training programs.
• Obtain injury/incident reports and conduct investigations.
• Lead and act as a permanent member of the Safety Committee.
• Conduct quarterly safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Maintain OSHA 300 log and annual reporting.
• Recommend measures to protect workers from hazardous methods.
• Ensure employees wear appropriate PPE and conduct safety drills.
• Assist with workers' compensation reports and investigations.
• Review safety policies and HIPAA compliance.
