Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. seeks a Safety Manager to lead the companywide safety program, translate commitments into practical procedures, and drive measurable accountability.

The role combines field presence and office work, partnering with leaders, HR, and fleet teams to reduce risk and strengthen the safety culture. You will develop training, safety orientation, and sector-specific programs while coordinating with safety representatives and external stakeholders to maintain regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible occupational safety experience, including multi-site or companywide safety program work.
• Safety experience in construction, engineering, consulting, inspection, telecommunications, environmental, or field-service operations.
• Experience with client prequalification platforms, workers' compensation coordination, fleet safety, safety-performance reporting, and vendor or contract management.
• Experience applying behavior-based safety or other engagement approaches to strengthen ownership of safety.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize safety needs with sector leadership, developing sector-specific safety plans.
• Overhaul the Safety Manual and ensure procedures comply with regulations, client requirements, and best practices; coordinate policy changes.
• Develop and implement a continuous safety improvement program with risk assessments, training, audits, and corrective actions.
• Serve as corporate safety audit lead; conduct visits, coach, document findings, and verify corrective actions.
• Investigate injuries and incidents; identify root causes and implement preventive actions and revised procedures.
