Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Safety Manager to lead the companywide safety program, translating commitments into practical procedures, training, audits, and accountability.

You will ensure regulatory compliance and a culture of safety across projects and offices. The role requires hands-on site and office work, coordinating with leaders, HR, Fleet, and safety experts, delivering coaching and corrective actions, and driving continuous safety improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible occupational safety experience, including hands-on responsibility for developing, implementing, or improving a multi-site or companywide safety program.
• Experience with client prequalification platforms, workers' compensation coordination, fleet safety, safety-performance reporting, and vendor or contract management.
• Experience applying behavior-based safety or other employee-engagement approaches that strengthen shared ownership of safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day development, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the safety program across the company.
• Partner with operational leaders, field employees, HR, Fleet, and safety reps to coach and support field engagement.
• Develop sector-specific safety plans, procedures, and training aligned with regulations and best practices.
• Conduct safety needs assessments, audits, investigations, and incident reviews; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate and oversee supplier safety equipment and services; support procurement.
• Represent the company in safety organizations and share regulatory developments with leadership.
