Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. seeks a Safety Manager to lead the day-to-day development and implementation of our companywide safety program. This hands-on role partners with operations, HR, fleet and safety experts to reduce risk, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with OSHA and related requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of safety leadership, a CSP/CHST, and proven ability to train, audit, and drive corrective actions across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field.
• 5+ years of occupational safety experience.
• Experience in developing and improving a multi-site safety program.
• Experience with client prequalification platforms, workers’ compensation, fleet safety, and safety reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence others.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and applicable regulations.
• Ability to lead and coach through change and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of companywide safety program.
• Translate commitments into procedures, training, audits, and accountability.
• Coach and support leaders, operations and field employees.
• Lead safety audits; document findings and verify corrective actions.
• Investigate injuries/near-misses; implement corrective actions.
• Develop sector-specific safety orientation and training programs.
• Maintain client prequalification and vendor safety processes.
• Manage health and safety budget and resources.
