Job summary

Ferguson Electric is seeking a Safety Professional to lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of our safety program across all projects and company activities, fostering a proactive culture of safety.

You will oversee field inspections, train employees and subcontractors on OSHA standards, drive compliance with regulations, manage incident investigations, and report safety performance to the Director of Safety and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of occupational health and safety experience, preferably in the construction or electrical contracting industry with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification in Construction Safety is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with safety management software or systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and enforcement of safety policies, procedures, and programs across projects.
• Direct regular site inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify hazards.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training for employees and subcontractors.
• Oversee maintenance and review of safety records, incident reports, and training documentation.
• Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and field crews to promote safety culture and continuous improvements.
