Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist in San Jose, CA to lead safety programs and champion a proactive safety culture across operations. You will conduct daily safety audits, investigate incidents, and implement risk assessments, while training associates and partnering with leadership to drive continuous safety improvements and operational excellence.

The role requires lifting up to 49 pounds, standing up to 12 hours, and flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a safety related field.
• OSHA knowledge (29 CFR 1910) required or strongly preferred.
• Experience in safety leadership and incident investigations.
