Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an Assistant Safety Manager to lead the Midwest region safety program from Minneapolis. You will champion the Incident and Injury Free culture, provide safety trainings, and communicate safety issues to ensure a safe workplace for all team members.

This role can span region-wide safety programs or be project-specific. Requirements include a 2-year or bachelor's degree in safety, 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA certifications, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Two-year or bachelor's degree in industrial safety, safety management, or related field.
• 5+ years in a construction safety role.
• Experience with inspections and audits with state/local agencies.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel).
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred; OSHA 500 Trainer Card desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program for assigned projects in alignment with IIF principles.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety programs and trainings.
• Coordinate OSHA consultations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct safety inspections and train field teams on safe practices.
• Monitor and report safety trends; support regional safety initiatives.
