Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a Safety Partner to support a safe hospital environment for patients at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, agitation, and self-harm. The role spans multiple units within the Nursing Resource Pool.

This flexible night-shift position includes orientation and required certifications. You will complete de-escalation and safety training within the first month and contribute to patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare experience preferred; training provided during orientation.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire; de-escalation and physical intervention training within 30 days.

Responsibilities
