Job summary

Uber is seeking a data-driven professional to join its Safety Operations team in San Francisco, focusing on safety across the US and Canada for both mobility and delivery. The role emphasizes translating data insights into actionable improvements and eliminating root causes that impact safety and user experiences.

You will lead initiatives, collaborate with product and data teams, and drive strategic improvements in safety processes.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of professional work experience in Project / Program Management, Operations, consulting, and/or in a related field.
• Experience in using SQL.
• Bachelors Degree.

Responsibilities

• Scope and lead central initiatives focused on advancing safety and creating a best-in-class Screenings program while responding to evolving safety environment in the US & Canada
• Use a data focused approach to identify, understand, and measure the biggest risks on the platform, their safety controls, and the efficacy of controls
• Become a subject matter expert on access safety processes to improve operations monitoring and drive meaningful improvements in the earner onboarding experience
• Partner with key stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives to support company growth initiatives while maintaining a high‑bar for safety standards
