Job summary

Uber is seeking a Safety Risk Measurement & Insights Lead to own how safety risk is defined, measured, and communicated across the organization. You will govern metrics, ensure data quality, and translate insights into actionable guidance for senior leadership.

This role sits at the intersection of Analytics, Operations, and cross-functional partners to scale measurement, reporting, and AI-enabled workflows while enabling Safety Operations with trusted dashboards and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical foundation; turn data into actionable insights.
• Experience defining, governing, or evolving critical metrics for senior leadership.
• Excellent communicator with cross-functional influence and storytelling.
• Ability to understand end-to-end processes and identify durable solutions.
• Curious user of AI, automation, or new analytical tools to scale insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance for Safety's critical metrics and ensure definitions and lineage.
• Own measurement quality and partner with DS/Eng/Ops to improve data trust.
• Conduct deep dives on performance shifts, frame action plans for leadership.
• Define AI-enabled workflows and scalable self-serve analytics for Safety.
• Enable Safety Operations with trusted metrics and dashboards.
