Job summary

You will develop practical safety skills through hands-on tasks, presentations, and collaboration with safety professionals, while traveling up to 25% and supporting program deployment within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
• College and/or some relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for day-to-day safety-related tasks at assigned work sites.
• Support site compliance activities related to internal or external requirements.
• Participate in the incident investigation process including root cause analysis and identification of corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor observation tools, indicators and actions related to management system compliance.
• Support development, delivery, and deployment of assigned management system components.
• Deliver presentations to craft and leadership personnel on assigned safety topics.
• Participate in incident response efforts as a part of the Entergy incident command structure as assigned.
• Participate in deployment of contractor safety process requirements and improvements.
• Travel to work sites within Entergy service territories.
