Job summary

Lenape Valley Foundation in Bristol, PA, is seeking a Safety Officer to support the safety and security of clients, staff and the facility. This role blends traditional security duties with regular interaction with individuals receiving behavioral health services, demanding professionalism, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills.

The position offers daily pay, paid training and supervision, a robust benefits package including a 403(b), PTO, sick days, holidays, and education support.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in security, law enforcement, or military police.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals in crisis preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and respond quickly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of Lenape Valley Foundation’s employees, clients, and property
• Patrol the perimeter and monitor assigned areas within the Acute Care Center
• Respond to alarms (Security, HVAC, Fire) and monitor public safety
• Control access to the property, issue keys, and guide individuals as needed
• Track mobile crisis team activity and support emergency response efforts

What You Bring

• Two or more years in security, law enforcement, or military police
