Lenape Valley Foundation in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse to support behavioral health programs at Bright Path Center. This Regular Part-Time role focuses on delivering safe nursing care, crisis support, and coordination within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work with ASAM 3.7 Withdrawal Management and Crisis services, perform triage, vital signs, medications, and documentation in EHR, while meeting physical requirements and holding PA RN license.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or multistate compact).
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings.
• Familiarity with crisis services and psychotropic medications.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing services across ASAM 3.7 Withdrawal Management and Crisis programs.
• Support individuals through acute behavioral health crises as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver hands-on nursing care including triage, evaluations, vitals, medications, and withdrawal management.
• Play a key role in crisis stabilization using trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation.
• Monitor and manage psychiatric and medical symptoms and medications.
• Coordinate care with providers, families, and support systems.
• Educate clients on health, mental health, substance use, medications and recovery steps.
• Document all assessments, treatments, and care coordination activities.
• Maintain vigilance to ensure safety and well-being of residents.

What You Bring

• Support individuals through acute behavioral health crises as part of a multidisciplinary team of medical and behavioral health providers
• Deliver hands‑on nursing care including triage, conducting comprehensive medical evaluations, monitoring vitals, administering medications, and supporting withdrawal management
• Play a key role in crisis stabilization using trauma‑informed approaches and de‑escalation interventions
• Monitor and manage psychiatric and medical symptoms and medications
• Coordinate care with providers, families, and support systems
• Educate clients on physical health conditions, mental health, substance use, medications, recovery, and next steps
• Document all assessments, treatments, and care coordination activities
• Maintain vigilance to ensure the safety and well‑being of all residents
