Carrus Behavioral Hospital in Sherman, TX is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to help protect patients, staff, and visitors and to maintain a safe, compliant environment. You will perform patrols, investigations, and documentation, and respond to incidents in a timely, professional manner.

This on-site role requires clear English communication and a proactive safety mindset. The ideal candidate has at least one year of safety experience and will complete de-escalation training within 30 days

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of previous safety officer experience.
• Must communicate effectively in English via verbal and written means.

Carrus Behavioral Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art, 28-bed child and adolescent behavioral facility. We provide 24-hour inpatient behavioral care for patients ages 5 through 17 who require a safe and therapeutic environment. Our multidisciplinary team, led by a board-certified psychiatrist, provides evidence-based therapies tailored to the needs of each child, adolescent, and family, and our effective management teams ensure that the hospital runs smoothly and that every patient leaves satisfied.
