Community First Medical Center seeks a Behavioral Health Safety/Security Officer for its New Behavioral Health Unit. The role ensures a safe, secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors while protecting hospital assets.
Shifts include Day, PM, and Night. Key duties are rounds, assisting security staff, documenting policy non-conformances, timely responses to nursing calls, patient transport, and handling valuables per policy. CPR and CPI are preferred.
Day: 7:00 AM - 3 PM
PM: 3:00 PM - 11 PM
Night: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
The Safety/Security Officer performs activities necessary to the provision of a safe and secure environment for employees, patients, and visitors of the Behavioral Health Unit and to protect the assets of Community First. At the discretion of the Director, an Officer may also be assigned to perform supervisory duties as the Officer In Charge (O.I.C.).
