The role emphasizes OSHA compliance, best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe. The candidate will lead daily safety meetings, conduct investigations, and oversee subcontractors while ensuring safety standards across fall protection, scaffolding, and excavation.

• 7+ years direct safety experience in construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager in Pleasantville, NJto oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required
• Degree in a safety related field preferred
• OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus
• CHST required
• Advance knowledge ofconstruction safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
