Safety Managers at Kiewit are integral in ensuring “Nobody Gets Hurt”. We hire people passionate about safety who will create, support, and audit our program which reinforces our commitment. Working closely with project teams, Safety Managers develop and implement protocols, conduct training programs, and monitor compliance with regulations and company policies. This role will be based on a construction project and will be involved in both safety management and field oversight to ensure safety for staff and craft employees, subcontractors, and consultants supporting the project.
Kiewit’s Northern California District is one of Kiewit’s leading infrastructure districts specializing invarious typesof work in the heavy civil, power, transportation, and water resource markets. Although most of our work is regionally based in Northern California, we also pursue various projects across the west coast. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry and seek a long-term career.
This position will be located on one of our project sites, which may be located in the SF Bay area or Sacramento, CA area.
Base Compensation:$125,000/yr -$155,000/yr **This position may qualify for a cost-of-living adjustment added to base salary for employees based in select Northern California locations.
