Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on a commercial construction project near Shreveport, LA. The role focuses on OSHA compliance, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

Responsibilities include daily safety meetings, incident investigations, safety audits, and oversight of subcontractors, with travel local only and a strong emphasis on leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years direct construction safety experience required.
• Active OSHA 500 and or BCSP certification required.
• Degree in a safety related field is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
