Job summary

HazTek Safety Management seeks an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on a commercial construction project near Santa Teresa, NM. The role focuses on OSHA compliance, safe work practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safely.

Responsibilities include handling accident investigations, leading daily safety meetings, reviewing permits and JHAs, and supervising all subcontractors. Local travel and on-site presence are required for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years direct construction safety experience required.
• Current OSHA 30 Construction certification and First Aid/CPR/AED required.
• Ability to work a Sun-Sat schedule and adapt to on-site demands.
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Experience with data centers, mission-critical builds, and energy infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
