IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, a national provider of electrical contracting services, seeks a Safety Manager in Suffolk, VA. The role focuses on delivering safety training, OSHA certifications (OSHA-10/30), and driver fleet safety programs.

You will develop materials, maintain training records, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards. Qualifications include OSHA-500 or OSHA-501 certification and 3+ years of construction safety experience.

Qualifications

• OSHA-500 or OSHA-501 certification required.
• 3+ years of recent construction safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA/state/federal safety regs and electrical construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety trainings on policies, procedures, and equipment operation.
• Deliver OSHA 10 & 30 certifications and new-employee orientation.
• Provide fleet safety training to drivers and maintain training records.
• Develop training materials and keep regulatory compliance files up to date.
• Support safety inspections and help correct violations promptly.
• Travel may be required.
