Job summary

Ultipro in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Safety Manager to lead all aspects of workplace safety at our wheel manufacturing facility. You will develop and implement safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture where safety is the top priority.

The ideal candidate understands OSHA rules, conducts training, audits, incident investigations, and risk management to continuously improve safety. Collaborate with plant leadership to keep the site safe, compliant, and productive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or related field is required.
• CSM certificate is required.
• OHSA/OSHA guidelines knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements safety programs for designated company or workspace.
• Stays up to date on state and federal workplace safety regulations.
• Leads audits, incident investigations, and risk management initiatives.
• Drives safety training and continuous improvement across the site.
• Represents safety at meetings with CEO or general manager.
• Responds to on-site emergencies and writes reports.
