Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking a Safety Manager (Mission Critical) to lead safety initiatives in Richmond, Virginia, ensuring Incident and Injury Free operations across projects. This role partners with operations and Talent Management to deliver targeted safety training and drive a culture of safety on site and in the field.

The candidate will conduct incident investigations, review subcontractor safety plans, and communicate safety expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of construction safety experience.
• Professional Certification (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or CUSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate safety initiatives and programs for a geographic region.
• Provide safety coaching and guidance to operations management and employees.
• Review subcontractor safety programs to meet project requirements.
• Conduct site visits and safety orientation trainings.
• Investigate incidents and verify corrective actions are implemented.
• Support project teams in developing safe execution plans.
• Travel to multiple projects to provide safety support.
